A Taste of Poland
For over 37 years, the staple of Mt Tambourine has held a hope of becoming a generational family business, but tensions arise when Ania and Phil’s daughters work harder on their own seperate futures and dreams. Will the passionate owners of the gorgeous and culturally rich Polish Place push to start a wonderful tradition or will they step back for the sake of family? Sabrina came up with the concept of this documentary after hearing of their re-opening. She was also lucky enough to be director of this film; sharing the Polish culture of The Polish Place but also of her own background. Read more in Sabrina's Director's Statement in her BLOG. This documentary will be screened at the Australian Polish Arts Festival - PolArt - in 2022.

Golden Chains MUSIC VIDEO - Hazel Mei
With a sweet yet sultry tone that oozes luxury, Brisbane based Hazel Mei effortlessly blends indie-pop with jazz and neo-soul across her back catalogue. No stranger to a brooding, transformative piece, her newest single Golden Chains is filled with fire and resolve; Hazel Mei is here to talk about climate change. "Golden Chains is a call to action for anyone who will listen and also for myself. We can so easily fall into feeling powerless within these big issues. When I wrote the song I felt broken, paralysed by the endless stream of bad news but the consuming and creating music and art in relation to climate change helped me feel motivated to educate myself myself on better daily practices, participate in productive conversations with friends and family as well as attend protests, sign petitions and contact local MP’s to try make change." - Hazel Mei Sabrina was Assistant Director on this music video - organising shooting times and schedules with the Producer, Director and artist herself. True N.O.R.T.H.
True N.O.R.T.H. - directed by Tristan Hargreaves, produced by Izzy Foland and written by Rachel Hall - tells the story of James - a modern day pirate fanatic who is rejected by his own family as well as society in general for his unorthodox pirate-like behaviour and interests. After being admitted to a facility where groups are subjected to the pirate equivalent of conversion therapy, James goes from being a quiet, reserved character attempting to simply get through the three day intensive program unchanged to finally learning to stand up for himself and who he is with the help of his newly formed crew of fellow pirates. Will the pirates fold to the pressures that society lays on them, or will they decide to sail their own path to find themselves and cremates within each other? Sabrina was a part of the Camera department as Assistant Camera and Secondary Camera Operator. Read more about her experiences within these roles in her Blog.
